After years of money trouble, legendary boxing champion Mike Tyson enjoys old age in a $2.5M fairly modest Las Vegas home

Inside the Las Vegas digs Mike Tyson bought after years of money trouble

For the past six years, Mike Tyson has resided in a modest Las Vegas home where he enjoys spending time with friends when he isn’t fighting.

In 2015, Tyson paid only $2.5 million for his six-bedroom, seven-bathroom mansion, even though he was one of the greatest heavyweight boxers of all time and had earned over $400 million throughout his professional boxing career.

The only thing that “The Baddest Man on the Planet” has is this property, which is located in Henderson, Nevada, not far from Sin City.

Regretfully, as The Post reported at the time, the well-known fighter’s wealth plummeted when he was compelled to declare bankruptcy in 2003 as a result of crippling debt—$23 million.

Tyson reportedly also spent $300 million over the years on a variety of homes, cars, jewelry, and, of course, tigers.

Moreover, although it is a substantial estate by conventional American standards, it doesn’t exactly scream “person who was once worth a half-billion dollars.” These days, celebrity residences usually cost $20 million or more.

Pictures of the house’s inside are available to The Post.

The property is located in the affluent Seven Hills neighborhood and is about an acre in size, with 10,400 square feet to be exact.

Two casitas, including a complete apartment, are also included.

There are two magnificent master suites, one on the first floor and one on the second, a wine cellar, a disappearing-edge pool, an outdoor kitchen, and a large covered patio among the amenities.

The custom iron railings, arched doors, vaulted ceilings, floor to ceiling windows, stone fireplaces, marble flooring, and a marble staircase are other characteristics of the Italian-style home.
