Jennifer Lopez is selling her Los Angeles home of seven years for $42.5 million. The move comes just six months after Lopez married Ben Affleck and a few weeks after it was claimed that Affleck had a multimillion-dollar deal with Dunkin’ Donuts.
The house is on about eight acres of land and is almost 14,000 square feet. It is in the fancy Bel Air area of the City of Angels. Real estate company Carolwood Estates says the home has a private lake and beach with an outdoor shower, private hiking trails, a guest house and separate guest cottage, a 100-seat amphitheater, a pagoda with a fire pit, a veggie garden, and a 30-car garage. Basically, the party house of a superstar’s dreams.
The living room that features a staircase that is quite expansive.Samuel Marx, an architect, was the original architect who designed and constructed the house in 1940. Subsequently, the house was redesigned as a multilayer French Country hideaway. From actress Sela Ward and her husband, businessman Howard Sherman, Lopez purchased the home in 2016 for a total price of $28 million.
A grand piano, a bar, a massage room, and a fireplace are all featured in the main house’s living area, which is a double-height space with a dπππππππΒ stairway that sweeps across the floor. In addition to having a central eating island and a rustic chandelier, the kitchen also has ceilings that are done in wood beams. After that, there is a dining room that is more formal, as well as a dining nook that is surrounded by stone walls and stone casement windows.
A gym, gaming room with billiards table, library, three-sided infinity pool, and 30-seat home cinema with movie posters of the Hollywood couple’s films are also cool. There are nine bedrooms.
Affleck sold his LA house for $28.5 million last year. The pair is renting a Beverly Hills house while looking for a new one.
